Our Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is God’s special message to mankind and includes His design and plan for us.

We believe there is one One True God – revelated in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity.)

We believe that everyone is sinful and desperatley needs saved from physical and spiritual death. But because of Jesus’ death, everyone can have a restored relationship with God by trusting Christ, repentance, and a commitment to follow Jesus.

We believe that once individuals make the decision to follow Jesus they should be fully baptized in water. We also practice Holy Communion (The Lord’s Supper) as a symbolic remembereance of Christ’s suffering and death for our salvation.

We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special, seperate experience following salvation that enables believers to boldly live, serve, and witness for God. Speaking in tongues is the sign when a believer is baptized in the Holy Spirit as experience throughout the New Testament.

We believe when an individual honestly comes to God in repentance and faith, God makes them holy in an instant. The life of a Christian is also a progressive, lifelong process of the individual drawing closer to God and becoming more like Christ.

We believe that God is still able to heal the sick and is a priviledge for Christians today because of Christ’s death on the cross for our sins.

We believe that one day Jesus will return for those who believe in Him. God will judge everyone according to their faith and actions. Afterwards, those who rejected God on earth will punished in the eternal lake of fire and those who have put their faith in Jesus will live forever in God’s new creation.
